International consultancy, engineering and project management service provider Royal HaskoningDHV joins forces with PT Dwira Bangun Indonesia (DBI) to support its growing operation in the country.

DBI, which provides mechanical and electrical services for buildings and process utilities, has been a dedicated partner of Royal HaskoningDHV since 1986. Now both companies have agreed to join forces to better serve their growing client base.

During the past 27 years DBI and Royal HaskoningDHV have delivered many prestigious projects together. These include the successful completion of the L'Oréal factory in Jababeka, Bekasi on West Java last year. They are currently involved in the design and installation management of the mechanical and electrical works for a large pharmaceutical plant for B. Braun in Karawang, Indonesia.

All DBI staff is integrated in the existing Royal HaskoningDHV Industry & Logistics Advisory Group managed by Resident Director Wybe de Jager: "With this move we bring in critical knowledge in the field of building related mechanical and electrical works as well as process related utilities to serve our growing client base, especially in the field of pharmaceutical and food & beverage projects."

Joining forces with DBI increases Royal HaskoningDHV's Indonesia staff with 23 to 370 people.

The signing took place on 28 June and the integration was effected 1 July 2013.
